Situated 10 minutes from Galway City it is at the crossroads to all major routes – Galway, Dublin, Kerry and Sligo – and as such is an ideal location for the visitor to stay while touring such places as Connemara, the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and Galway City. Oranmore village is renowned for its mouth watering restaurants while for those with a thirst can find a creamy pint of Guinness in any number of old traditional pubs in the village. In fact the pubs are hotbeds of local Irish music and impromptu sessions of both traditional Irish dance and music are hallmarks of the pubs here.
